IBM Watson X: First Step

As Compositing Supervisor on this IBM spot, I lead the compositing for two distinct sections: an exterior building sequence and an interior warehouse scene. The concept was unique—reversing time to show the building being deconstructed, while simultaneously transitioning through different times of day and seasons. The warehouse sequence mirrored this idea, starting as a fully operational space and reversing back to an empty, unfinished state.

The project presented unique challenges, including an extremely tight turnaround and a shifting deadline due to last-minute changes in the exterior building’s design and architecture. Despite these hurdles, Head of CG Tim Sepulvida and the rest of the team adapted brilliantly, delivering a seamless and dynamic final product. It was incredibly rewarding to see everyone come together under pressure and create something we could all be proud of.
